For this project I took a photo I had and changed it to gradient using photoshop. Once that was done the gradient photo was projected onto the wall where I traced it. Then I labeled each color a number and mixed paint to the match the corresponding numbers and painted the photo.
I do think that you can show your identity in a photograph without showing your face. I did this with my last photo. I choose to use a photo I took of my grandfathers farm because that is the place I grew up. And where I found my passion and I figured out who I am.
For this project we used the projector to display photos on the wall and we had people pose in front of them while we took photos.
The difference between realistic, abstract, and nonobjective is that realistic has a goal of representing something from life. Abstract is when a subject from real life is represented in a way that isn't the same way they are seen in reality. Lastly nonobjective is when there isn't anything recognizable from reality in it. My first picture is realistic because there are no adjustments to it and you can clearly tell it is a photograph of a girl and her horse. The next picture is abstract because it is the same picture as the first but with a filter causing it to be hard to realize what it is but is still recognizable. My last pictures is again the same photo but this time nonobjective because you can't tell that the picture is of a girl never horse all you can see is the lines in the photo.
The first shadow picture I took I didn't set anything up for it. I was just outside and like the lighting on the street and how my shadow looked in it. So i just took a picture of my shadow making sure I got my camera in the shadow. The next picture I took during a fall portrait photo shoot of someone and her horse i really like the shadow of her on her horse. I didn't set anything up for the particular photo I just noticed her shadow and I was looking for good lighting. The last picture I took during the same photo shoot I had the two people make an infinity sign with their arms and took a picture of the shadow.
The double challenge was to make a spooky book cover for halloween. To make this cover I put my photo in photoshop and blacked out the background adjusted the color and added some text to it.
